February felt like avocado croissant breakfasts, Tiffany blue sweatsuits, and heartfelt community activations. Bouts of love, tidbits of grief, and moments of friendship. Missing my ancestors while also savoring newfound freedom and stillness. An open heart, no letting go 🫶🏾

On the day to day, I oversee developmental projects from ideation to final product as a Lead Engineer for one of the best fin-tech companies in Miami! This shift in role has created more room for advancement. I am always excited about opportunities for expansion and growth in leadership.

A lot of mental fog caused me to take a break from my creative side during the pandemic. All in all, I came to the realization that no matter what, art and community will aways remain prevalent in my life. It’s my intimacy, my necessity. So this time around, you can catch me fully immersing myself in all things creative and community. You may even catch me hosting workshops, conversations and events with some of my close friends *hint*

I know, enough about me! Would you believe it's been TEN years since I became a mother? Time has flown! I'm learning more about her AND myself as the days go by. Especially, learning how to navigate the old adage of a "a child's place" while ensuring she finds and/or keeps her voice. I am grateful and completely enamored on this journey with her, which feels like in itself, a journey through me.
